Kitchen Inn in Thornlie

This was a bargain. The housemade noodles actually tasted different to the dry-packaged noodles from Chinese shops. The roast pork and noodles were served hot, the crackle on the pork was crisp, and unlike the last time I was here they hadn’t gone overboard with the soy sauce – winning! In the category of cheap and cheerful Asian food, this is a standout.

$8.50 Kampuah noodles with roast pork.

Taste verdict Definition of cheap and cheerful. Housemade noodles are on point.

I muse about food and about other things. Mainly food.
